X – means the symbol for crossing over two kinds of music, two bands, two nations: arx kaeli (russia) meets heimstatt yipotash (germany).
the conception behind X is to transform sounds and thoughts from one artist to the other. so this 7″ vinyl starts with a song completely composed by arx kaeli followed by a song composed by arx kaeli too but using samples of heimstatt yipotash. equal to this on other side it starts with an pure heimstatt yipotash track. a second song composed by heimstatt yipotash using samples of arx kaeli closes this experiment.

so finally this disc contains four fine short tracks crossed over from arx kaeli to heimstatt yioptash – means X.

a unique release needs a unique style, needs a unique presentation.
in this sense this fine 7″ vinyl is setted in a precious wooden box, laser-engraved and ornated with inlaid solid metal work. limited to 110 pieces. released on sealt.

many of you already noticed it:

hyt became even more social and took themselves an appartment at facebook. a couple of live- and demo-songs have been added to the profile the last weekend. let us know, if you like that!

just a personal note concerning the privacy problems at facebook: everyone may keep an open eye on diaspora, a open social web which is in development at the moment. sounds very interesting!

six months ago our album “urban night motifs” had been released and we used some great opportunities to perform live shows based on the album concept, supported by phantastic additional visuals made by “the empath”.

on this base we will do another two gigs in summer:

the first one will take place in erlangen (germany) on july, 17th.

the second one will bring us to bradford (united kingdom) on august, 27th. we are very happy that hands productions made it possible for us to play at the infest!

an eventful autumn dates back with a new fulltime release, compilation tracks and live gigs. now its calm again in our own heimstatt yipotash universe. time for a short summary…

in october 2009 we released our third fulltime album urban night motifs on hands productions. about the story behind we told enough. so lets speak the others: some reviews you will find at the release site (output). we are sorry but its only in german as is an interview done for the terrorverlag webzine. to find here: heimstatt yipotash interview.

two unreleased tracks were made for the v.a. maschinenfest 2009 and the pleasant strange v.a. ente 9 kostbarkeiten. the first song is based on the urban night motifs theme, the other one is a really odd d’n'b track for an odd sampler.

further, the german music mag sonic seducer took our pavement chicks and put them on mag sampler issue 101. well done, long live the chicks!

and, finally: whats next? of course, we have some ideas. for instance: two false flag operations are planned. in march 2010 we will set free our freaked out alter ego named no go! at elektroanschlag party in altenburg / germany. in assiciation with a release, perhaps.

then we are in cooperation with another great musician to explore a new side of us. at time we want to draw a veil of silence over it as long as we have more concrete informations about it. so watch out for news…

gimped (not photoshopped) hyt

after the full modernisation of our homepage in technique and design we re-painted our blog, too.

through this we try to reflect and deploy our very own thoughts and “mental cinema” (what became some kind of buzz word for us in the last weeks) about a “dirty mordern urbanity” as a homogene design unity.

our brandnew album “urban night motifs” had been available to buy during this years maschinenfest in the beginning of october for the very first time. the official release date is 30th of october. so from now on you can buy the album in our small cd shop.
aside our other fantastic albums you can get the maschinenfest 2009 compilation there, too.

from today on the heimstatt yipotash homepage has got a completely refreshed look.
fitting to the layout of our new album “urban night motifs” it’s looking quite dark and dirty but inside it’s much more modern than before.

during our tests we didn’t find huge problems, any actual (!) browser versions should display it nearly identical. but if you should find any bugs please send us a small note including the version & name of browser so we cann try to eliminate the bug.

PS: we will give you some own words about the great maschinenfest as soon as possible too!

da ihr natürlich alle täglich bei uns vorbeischaut, ist es auch ja auf jeden fall aufgefallen:
in den letzten tagen war unsere homepage nicht ganz auf dem posten – fehlerchen hier, problemchen da.

bedingt war die ganze sache durch einen umzug der domain.
bis auf noch zu erledigenden kleinkram läuft jetzt aber alles wieder. es war ne woche mit wenig schlaf, schönen stunden gemeinsam mit dem filezilla und relativem spass in den (un)tiefen meines php-codes.

hyt sind ab sofort ganz dicke im merchandise-geschäft. pünktlich zum release unseres zweiten longplayers “perpetual beta” auf hands hat das label nette shirts hergestellt. dummerweise haben wir zeitgleich (mangelndem labelseitigen “infotainment” sei dank) selbst shirts drucken lassen.

wer von euch also lust hat, seine hart verdienten kröten für etwas schönes zu benutzen (immer nur cds ist auch eintönig, hm?) und seine liebe zur dem freundlichen wahnsinn nahen hyt-verzerrerfolklore offen zu demonstrieren, hat ab sofort die option, sich einen neuen kleiderschrankschatz im hytshop zu sichern.

PS: kommerzkacke isses dann allerdings doch irgendwie wieder nicht, denn dafür müsste ja für uns was dabei rausspringen.
