hi & hello,

we are happy to be able to promote two new hyt live gigs for this summer:

on  july, 22+23 the “factory noise” festival takes place in kortrjik, belgium. some other bands from our beloved home label “hands productions” will be there aside us. as far as we know actually we are going to play on saturday’s early afternoon.

around one month later, on august, 26+27, the “schlagstrom-festival” will take place in berlin. we don’t know for sure whether we are going to play in friday or saturday, but you will get an update as soon as we have more datailed information.

we arevery, very happy to be able to announce that we may do some noise at this years elektroanschlag in altenburg at the next weekend.

tonight we gonna decide what’s going to be played on saturday (april, 2nd) after DIVE’s gig. 1,2,3 beer will do, we think.

winter sleep’s over – heimstatt yipotash are going to be on the road again.

on february 26th our (and hopefully your) ways will lead us to dresden into the venue “sektor evolution”.

the evening’s event is called “electronic warfare”. so does anyone need more explanation of about what’s going to come? well, here it is:

unfortunately mike aka “the_empath” has to work so long tomorrow that he isn’t able to come to essen in time to our gig.

this means, we can not be assisted with his great visual effects and design fragments. we are really sad about that because we looked forward to this performance on that big stage.

we cannot change it now – but there will be a next time, we promise. you will get an information of course, as soon as heimstatt yipotash will be live on stage somewhere supported by mikes fantastic video art!

so howdy friends, until tomorrow, somewhen after midnight. and, by the way… you don’t need to wear thick clothing, you are allowed to move!

what a great day today, just got the official confirmation, that hyt are going to play at this years’ maschinenfest!
we are very happy to contribute to this fantastic scene highlight with our brand new songs!

naturally we’re going to play tracks from the upcoming album “urban night motifs” but you will hear some hyt “classics”, too, of course.
we are amazingly looking formward to this!

very last minute – just a few hours before the “strom:ton” festival tonight we want to give you a little piece of information:

we are planning to play a lot of the songs from the upcoming album, just to hear them loud and in live atmosphere finally after our long “studio” time. this will be for testing them for live-”compatibility” and danceablitity.

and there will be anothe premiere tonight of which we are very happy and proud about. the_empath from leipzig will support us live on stage with his VJ knowledge. aside his own works, for instance the famous “second earth remix projekt”, he can be known as the master of video effects on stage at xabec concerts.
two of his fantastic remixes are available on our free mp3 mini album “storegga landslide”, too.
we worked out this live collaboration very spontaneously and are looking very happy forward to what will happen tonight.

der 23.08. beschert uns ein wiedersehen mit erlangen, diesmal steht ein auftritt im omega auf dem plan. der abend steht unter dem schönen titel “electric pleasures XII“, und neben den autoren dieses knuffigen blogs treten auch das melodic abortion orchestra und nullgrad auf.

und am 20.09. werden wir beim 27. dark dance treffen in lahr auftreten. neben chrysalide und shnarph, die am ehesten wie wir im lärmsektor beheimatet sind, werden auch wildfang, escape with romeo, solitary experiments und tanzwut auf verschiedenen floors am start sein.

hmm… alles hätt’ so schön sein können…

eine dicke entschuldigung an alle anwesenden für den miserablen klang während des großteils des gigs, auch wenn ich wohl für den defekt beider boxen nach dem dritten song nicht verantwortlich war.

keine mitten, keine höhen – das da keine wirkliche tanzlaune entstehen kann, ist mir klar.

danke darum an alle, die bis zum schluss ausharrten, was ja dann zumindest beim letzten lied mit einer getauschten, funktionierenden box honoriert wurde.

was könnt ihr erwarten von heimstatt yipotash live am 08.03. im musikbunker aachen?

- erstmals eine einmannshow (andré kann leider nicht mitkommen)

- ziemlich viel rhythmus und tanzbarkeit

- ruhige töne werd’ ich mal lieber aussen vor lassen, sowas will doch keiner hören, gell?

- etliche neue songs und bislang unbekannte live-versionen
